Oklahoma looks to implement ongoing coronavirus testing in nursing homes
So far, the state has tested more than 34,000 residents and staff members at 257 nursing homes and other long-term care facilities in the state.

The disease’s toll on Oklahoma’s elderly has been staggering. Oklahomans age 65 and older make up nearly 80 percent of deaths in the state, the data show.
